It started with an idea and a love for dogs...

I (Michelle, Founder of The Barking Bakery) used to wander up and down the supermarket aisles looking for an unusual and tasty baked treat for my dog to enjoy. At the weekend, I would be tucking into my takeaway and thought Spot deserved something tasty too! Nothing grabbed my attention, so I came up with the idea of a 'Doggy Woofin'. After I baked my first successful doggy cake in 2012, Spot (Michelle's dog) and I knew we were onto something and had an idea worth sharing with other dogs.

Since those early days of baking in my kitchen at home; we now have our own manufacturing plant and have steadily grown into a thriving business. You can find our dog treats stocked in major outlets such as Pets at Home, Ocado, Sainsbury's and The Range. We have expanded on our range and now sell Woofins, Pupcorn, Pawty Cakes, Cheesy Biscuits, Cookies and Domuttz in hundreds of independent pet shops, dog friendly hotels, cafes and garden centres.
